You know how it goes.

You are totally having fun tweaking new sounds on your Nord Stage. You've got layers. You've got slots. You've got zones.

But what you really need is a 2nd 73 or 88 note controller sitting under you Stage.

Inspired by the Nord C organs with their dual manuals .... would Nord ever make a nice docking unit?

Nord does not make keys. They design and build electronics hardware/software guts and mate them up with Fatar keys in their custom Swedish chassis'. Hard to predict what the future may hold, but I doubt that this idea holds much attraction for them.

Would be cool, though...

I am on a budget and was looking for something light and picked up a Roland Juno DS88. It's a great controller for the Nord and has some built in drum loops (with separate volume control) that are fun if you are just practicing. The action is very good...

Straight up, inexpensive, simple and baisc 88 key controller - Alesis Q88. Dirst cheap, does the trick if you dont' wany any bells and whistles beyond control wheels (no onboard sounds, USB/Midi only)
