Hi everyone. I,ve read the manual but not found how to setup pedal sustain for differents slots in performance mode in my lead a1. I need sustain pedal at slots a/b (strings chords) but not need it in slots c/d (lead synth). Need some help to setup this properly.
So, how deactivate the sustain pedal at slots cd but set on for slots ab?
Thanks for your precious help.

I guess you can't. Unfortunately Nord is not famous for it's per patch flexibility. Look up the global vibrato settings.

Sustain pedal is midi cc64. maybe there is a way to do it with a midi controller through midi, by setting up different midi channels per slot. That would mean having extra gear ie (Midi controller) in your set up.

Yes, this would be possible.

Re: Sustain pedal in performance mode, nord lead a1
I did a workaround for this.
I selected the expression pedal to work as a morph controller and then assigned the release parameter (from the AMP ENV) to the maximum on the slot A, that I needed to work as a sustain pedal. Left the slot C not affected by the expression pedal.
So when I wanted to sustain the notes on the A slot, I just pressed full the expression pedal. To release the Sustain, I pressed the Expression pedal back to the initial position.
That allowed me to play in slot A, leave it sustained while playing on the slot C and then come back to continue playing on the slot A.

That is exactly how to individualize the Sustain per Slot, meaning, using a different MIDI channel per slot and then using a Pedal assigned to the relevant MIDI channel via a MIDI controller (like the Nektar Pacer, just as an example).
I do use a Nektar Pacer as my Controller for several things, like the Nord Electro Organ Rotor speed controller (opposed to using the panel button and Half-Moon switch), the Nord Lead A1 Volume and Sustain for slots A and C (my Strings/Lead slots). For those I use two pairs of EV5/SP10 Roland Pedals connected to the Nektar Pacer.
