Hi. I downloaded Nord Sound Manager and connected to my Nord Stage 2 with plans to download new e.piano sounds from Nord Piano library. I found the sound I wanted and dragged/dropped from my download folder to the Piano tab - Spiano7 Mk1 Amped Med (the new sound I downloaded) landed in the Epiano1 Bank, Slot 7. It says Unused. Well, I want to use it. I have four available program locations A:8:1, a:10:1, D:8:1, and D:20:4. When I right click on any of the empty program locations I get a "wound download" window in which the file type it wants to "Enable" would be *.ns2p. The file I downloaded ends in .npno and thus cannot be selected. I have tried a few other sounds but all downloads end with .npno. This is driving me nuts. Thanks for any help provided.

Using the sound manager you drag the downloaded piano or eps into the piano tab where they
belong.
They don't inhabit programs. They are just there to pick from on the controls
at any time within a program/setup using the selectors on the panel.
Once you save a setup with that piano or EP called up it's saved to play.

The programs/setups are just pointers to each thing you want working.
Including 2 piano/Ep's. 2 synths that save all its settings (these can have samples in them ).
2 external midi devices. 2 organs of the same type. ( only B3 or only Farf etc)
And of course the effects as you choose to use them.

So your almost there. The EP is likely in the Nord under EP1 number7 in the
Piano section.
The display should have said downloading /clearing as it was doing its thing.

Now just turn on the piano bank and select EP 1 and click through till
7 is in the little number display. You should be able to play that EP.
