I just bought a Roland FC-300, which is a MIDI Foot Controller. There are two expression pedals that I was hoping to assign to control swell and volume. I can get it to work with CC#4 for organ swell, however, I have tried CC#7 and CC#11 for the other pedal and can't get it to change volume for piano or synth sounds. I have done the update to OS 1.30. In the updated MIDI manual, it says to change the swell setting in the system menu to volume. I did that too, and no results. Is this another bug or do any of you have another suggestion for me to try?

I am considering purchasing the FC300 as well. Were you ever able to get it working the way you wanted?

I have a NS2 EX Compact with a Behringer FCB-1010 Pedal set which is less expensive than a FC300 but also less functional. I use CC4 for organ and CC7 for anything else. I'm running it through a BomeBox. So set up my foot controller for just one setting and then send midi messages to my bome box to change assignments of each my 2 exp pedals. I can also use CC11 but seldom do for the Nord. My Hammond uses CC11 though. I do this because I have multiple keyboards and each one requires different cc (and obviously midi channel).

CC7 only works for master level if Swell type is set to volume in system menu.

Edit: I use CC11 if I want to control Morph with pedal.
