I just tried your sample tonight at our practice place but I got only the lower part of the drums, not high, no Hihat....but just realized that I might not have initiate the synth part, so, maybe the filter was not open and was cutting the sample high end?

The hihat is in the sample. You could give the high frequencies a boost with the equalizer.
