The red wooden panels on each side of my Electro 3 had been damaged. I received new ones.
I expected that it would only be a matter of unscrewing the 3 screws of the existing side panels,
but they appeared to be also attached to the metal top panel.
So I unscrewed the screws of the top at the back of the Electro 3, but the top is still attached to something else.
How do I proceed ?

Hello havoc,
there is still a screw on the bottom that holds the top.
It is this one indicated in the photo by green.

One more thing though, I find it hard to get used to the much darker red of the new panels;
they do not match the red of the top panel...

Re: How to replace the side panels of my Electro 3 73
Just wanted to say that the process of unscrewing side panels on the HP3 is straightforward, it is fixed only by screws on the panels.
I had to open mine as I had a bit of noise the source of which I’ve fortunately correctly guessed.
The flat cable from keybed was approximately 0.5mm away from something else and it apparently vibrated during playing and producing unpleasant sound. With the long stick I just moved it a little bit and since then no problems. I should have taken the picture to show, sorry
