Question for You Users....
....I use the C2D already and love that...I am interested in the Lead4...my question is.....does it reproduce the classic Old School analog Synth sounds like Prophet 5, Oberheim etc.. I am less interested in arpeggiation and fluffy sorts of things....just meat and potatoes Analog Synth stuff....Also, can it utilize the Mellotron Sounds that are offered by Nord? Thanks so much for your help.....

Re: Question for You Users....
It's virtual analog. Yes on the synthy sounds. No on the Mellotron or any other Nord Sample Library sounds. Great synth.

Re: Question for You Users....
The NL4 will please anyone looking for "old skool synth sounds." It is not, however, capable of loading samples, which is what those Mellotron sounds are.

Re: Question for You Users....
It does. I've got a midified Korg Polysix and a NL4 standing side by side here. I almost never use the Polysix because the Lead4 does the same job more reliably and gives me way more options. Unless you're really into glitches, the NL4 sounds more "analog" than most actual analog synths.

I would strongly recommend the Nord Lead A1 for classic 70/80th patches. On this patches it beats the NL4 by far imho.
Sorry, but no.
