I found this on the Nord web site - Nord Piano - 88-key Triple-Switch Grand Weighted Hammer Action.. does this mean the NP3 has a graduated weighted
piano action?

Yes. I believe this is correct. The keys in lower register require more effort to depress than those in the upper register- like an acoustic grand. Momos did a neat experiment a few months back posted on the Nord piano forum showing that it required 100 gms to trigger a low base key and only 80 gms to trigger a high treble key on the NP3.The keybed doesn't quite feel like an acoustic grand in my opinion but seems fairly close.
