Nord Sound Manager does not handle 2 Instruments

Post by HarryM »

Hello all you Nord Specialists,

i have a rather simple Question. Maybe someone knows or has an idea. I have 2 Nord Instruments, the Nord Piano2 and the A1. If i want to Manage my Sounds using the the (latest) Sound Manager i can not choose the Instrument i would like to Manage. By Default it always opens the Piano. If i like to manage the Sounds of my A1R i Need to Switch off the Piano for it to work. Is this normal or am i missing something?

Any help is appreciated.

regards Harry

Hi Harry,

This is normal behaviour.
You can't select an instrument in the Sound Manager.

Heyhey!! You're not supposed to have any money left after buying one Nord! Now you're the one to blame for next year's prices! ;-)

They'd have to implement audio via USB for that to work.

No Clavia keyboards released to date can output digital audio via USB.

Unless you're asking for them to build the entire sound engine into a VST to run on a computer, completely independently of any nord hardware, in which case you're asking for clavia to switch to a completely different business model and start competing in a completely different market.
Ain't gonna happen.
