I've had my NE5 SW for about three months and last night the lowest Ab key has stopped sending the correct velocity.

By this I mean: when you play from a few notes below to a few notes above the Ab is very much quieter - it wasn't this way before.
I know someone is going to say its part of the sample but... If I transpose the keyboard an octave then the faulty key plays the higher octave note too quietly. Also if I try different piano's, electric piano, clav etc then the quite note is always where the lower Ab key is, The fault doesn't transpose so its nothing to do with the samples selected.

Is it something I can fix?

almost certainly caused by dirt in key contacts for that note...
