Hello Nord Community. I am looking to make a home made case for the original Nord Stage 88 right now for a friend. Can someone please give me the dimensions of this piano's end pieces in mm, (Metric). I need the exact highest top to bottom measurement in the back of the panel. The measurement needs to be accurate. If someone at Nord has all the exact measurements, I would love that very much. Thank you in advance

Is that panel the same as the one of a NS2 88?

That one is exactly 100 mm high (at the highest point).
So don't know if this is good enough for you...

I guess you're trying to make this a surprise or else you would simply take this measurement from your friend's instrument? Sorry that I do not have this info for the 88; mine is the 73 version. Perhaps you can sneak over to this friend's house while she/he is away and break in to get the measurement? Or perhaps that's not such a great idea...

Thanks to both of the replies. I have a Nord Stage 2 already. I know the measurement of the original 88 is slightly different. Since it's hard top find, I am on here trying to find someone who has it. Thankyou to you both for giving it a shot. Maybe someone else on here will have the info. Thanks Again.

I measured my Stage 88 Classic to exactly 99.5 mm, so that are close to the 100 mm on a Stage2.
My guess are that they are identical.

Does anyone know what species of wood and what color stain is used on the end panels? I want to build a custom keyboard stand and match the finish
