Hi there,

Since the 80s I have used MIDI CC 11 to chop up chords and slow evolving sounds.

However the CC11 for the NL3 doesn't seem too work this way and is instead for a pedal. Could they not have used one of the free CCs for this and kept 11 alone?

Can anyone please tell me how you do the volume chop thingy on the NL3? Volume (CC7) is not ideal. I usually use that to set the overall volume as like a mixer and then CC11 flicks in-between that. Much easier way too control stuff.

Any help appreciated. If you need more info from me please just ask.

According to the user guide, CC11 is used by the Expression Pedal input only, as you have found. However, Amp level responds on both 7 and 71, so you could possibly use CC71 to accomplish this-

CC11 is Midi standard for expression.
