Hey there,

i have an older Nord Stage (revision A) which does not have the brackets for the music holder. Has anyone came across a way to modify the unit to let you install the music holder?

Contact Pablo, north american warranty repair rep for Nord, he has a number of chassis's (the lowest portion of the casing) for a few Nord models that has the music stand brackets in place already or ready to install. that's the route i'm going, as it's going in for a repair anyway, so that lower chassis piece will be swapped out at that time, giving me the music stand holder

Does anyone know if there is an attachable music holder for a NS2 EX Compact (SW73) ?

The compact will not accommodate the Nord music stand. It is possible that there is some aftermarket outfit out there making something which would work, but I am not aware of any such company.

Please search forum archives for extended discussion on why this is the case. I've typed it too many times to want to do it again...

Hi Pablo, I've been searching for some time now and have yet to see a solution other than DIY (Do it yourself). I guess I will have to rig something to my stand as I really don't want to do any mods to my NS2EX as I'm afraid it would deplete its value. Modifying a $60 keyboard stand with a few pieces of sheet metal, bolts or whatever is much more palatable. Although I was hoping for something off-the-shelf if possible (at a reasonable price of course). In the meantime I just bring a separate detached stand with me.
