What does this mean I'm confused?
I have one on order and the reason I did because of the ivory key bed.
I know tp40H will be ok but compared to my nord piano 2 is it really worth it?

Re: Nord ditch ivory keybed piano 3
I wonder if the texture that makes the keys feel like ivory might eventually wear out and you end up with "polished" parts of keys where one plays most?
I read somewhere that some Roland pianos had this problem.

I guess Mr_-G- is right.
Much more important than the surface of the keys, in my view, is the fact that the new action has 3 sensors, allowing a different playing technique. Don't cancel your order!

I agree the triple sensor is the important part, although I really like the ivory feel on my Roland RD700GX and have not had any problems with it.
I'll definitely get down to a shop at some point to check out this keybed.
