Setting Morph Wheel and Morph Pedal to seperate destinations
Hi, New to Nord. Just got an A1. I was wanting to know if I can set the morph wheel and pedal (set to Morph) to control seperate morph destinations? They seem to control the exact same destinations. I've read the manual over several times and it seems it doesn't mention how to do that or if it can. Thanks.

Re: Setting Morph Wheel and Morph Pedal to seperate destinat
As Morph source they are coupled, so... but (just for completeness) in the manual you also see that:
If the control pedal is set to control the overall volume of the Nord Lead A1, in the System Menu, the wheel and incoming MIDI CC11 messages will be the Morph source. In addition to this, if Wheel Mode in the System menu is set to Vibrato, incoming MIDI CC11 will be the only Wheel/Pedal Morph source

Re: Setting Morph Wheel and Morph Pedal to seperate destinat
Thanks you guys
Ya Maxpiano i read that but i couldn't quite understand it exactly at the time.
I thought of a work around. I can use a midi controller and plug my pedal into it. and then send different Controller change numbers to the A1 with it, besides the CC11. I think that should work.

Yes, that would work but of course the assignment will be fixed (unless you can store patches in the MIDI controller and change them, in sync with A1 program changes, so that you can associate different CCs based for different A1 programs) and also the ramge of the CC (and so of the "morph") would be full 0-127, unless the controller will allow to limit it.
PS: That text simply says that you can also assign those controls to some dedicated functions, Vibrato for the ModWheel and Volume for the CtrlPedal respectively; in case either or both are assigned to those functions, they won't control the Morph any more but only perform that function (Vibrato or Volume). The problem is that I am afraid those settings are Global...

ya that was the point. i dont want a volume pedal, so i wanted to use it for something else. but not mimic the mod wheel. I want to use the mod wheel.

I use the mod wheel for vibrato and the pedal for morph. I also would love seperate pedal and wheel morphs.
