After owning the two models for sometime, I let the lead 4 go a month ago and decided to keep the lead2x. The lead 2x feels like a better "musical instrument" to me in many ways, especially the pitch bender, which is so accurate(set to octave, and some practice will get you the control of specific pitch), so alive like the whammy bar on a good electric guitar. I don't get this feeling on that of Lead 4(Nor on any other keyboards, either). I also wonder if the pitch bender on the Stage 2(ex) will feel the same , since the range is fixed to a whole step.
