I have a Nord drum one and was wondering would the nord 2 pad work?, I know its 6 channel but still ethernet hook up.

It should be possible, sort of this in reverse:
nord-drum-forum-f27/nord-pad-connector-pin-out-t8639-10.html
but it needs to be powered as well

Perhaps easier to look for MIDI pads, I know Alesis and KAT make some reasonally priced ones, not red though...
Alternatively you can use an Alesis Samplepad, Roland SPD-Sx, or Yamaha DTX-Multi 12 with which you can play your ND1 and add samples to your setup..

I don't think nord pad will work with you nord drum 1, since it doesn't have a ethernet input for powering and interfacing with the pad:

Bollocks!, thanks anyway.........will look at other pads for this.

@mudgnome As my favourite word is 'Bollocks' and was used so succinctly I will mention that the Alesis Percpad worked great for me a number of years before I bought the ND2+Pad, but I still sequence the ND1 with OT, OP-1 etc.

The Alesis is cheap though and would serve you well...
The onboard sounds are shite, so be warned.
