Hi,

Please help. I just bought a NP2 HA88 and am slightly disappointed with the limited Vintage organ sound samples available. This is my first Nord keyboard, am i missing something? The Nord C2D and .ns2p files are not compatible with my NP2. Where can I find samples similar to the Hammond B3 organ and Rock organs which would be compatible with my Nord Piano 2?
Would be ever so grateful for suggestions

The Hammond sounds on the C2, Stage and Electros are sophisticated fully computer-modeled sounds, which the NP2 simply doesn't have, so you are not going to get Hammond sounds as good as those on your NP2. This is why you can't load C2 sounds into your NP2, it simply doesn't have the electronics needed to make those sounds.You're limited to using much simpler sampled Hammond sounds, such as any you might be able to find in the Nord Sample library, or be able to scrounge up or make yourself.

If good Hammond sounds are important to you, you might seriously consider trading up to an Electro instead. There's a reason why it's called the Nord PIANO.

If you wanted Vintage Organ sounds you should have bought something else in the Nord Family, rather than the NP.

However you can look at some free Organ Samples from Sc Sounds here or in the Sample Collection of this forum (go that page and search for "Hammond" or "Organ") or (last but not least) build your own by sampling Organ sounds from VSTis or other keyboards, then using the Nord Sample Editor to create the .nsmp for your NP.
