I was just messing around with the NLA1 and created some performances... nothing I would call finished or polished, but all the same, I hate to see them go to waste. So here they are.
Enjoy, Mangle and otherwise make some pretty noise.
Cheers!

Re: NLA1 Performances
hello, excuse me an opinion. i see in you signature that you have nl3 and nla1.
it is convenient to buy a nl3 to place side by side to the nla1? I have stage 2 and a nla1.
I want to buy a second synth and I do not know what to choose between nl3 and virus ti.
Thanks
Thomas

Re: NLA1 Performances
Hej Ice!
Perhaps the NL3 might be quicker to learn how to master? Since you're a Nord-person already. That is why I bought a NL4 instead of something else, like the Elektron.
I have never tested the NL3, but I have on the other hand only read good reviews about it. My pal Ricard loves it.
I guess you can do some really complex stuff with it. The true opposite of the NLA1? So you can cover any direction your music takes you ...

NE3HP, NP88, NS2, DPP1, NL2X, NL2X, NLA1, NL4, NE5D, NW2 (Collect Them All?), some classic Rolands, Arturias, a Waldorf, a Kurz, a WONOK3, a pile of guitars, a P-bass, loopers, amps and computers ...

I think it depends on your style of music. But I really love the NL3. I actually prefer it over the NL4. I think it all comes down to what kind of music are trying to do. The good thing about the NL3 is that there are a lot of demos online of this thing. So I would spend some time on line listening to it. If you hear sounds that are inspirational, you'll probably be pretty happy with it.
Alba Ecstacy (http://www.albaecstasy.ro) has done a couple of sound banks for the NL3. I'm not suggesting that you necessarily need to go out and get his sound banks, but he has done a couple of videos promoting those sound banks that he has made. Watch those videos. They are a pretty good demonstration of the various types of sounds that the NL3 can make. And last but not least, download the manual. I have not bought many synths based on the manual telling me what the synth could not do.
Cheers!
