Does it differ from sampling in 440 and tuning to 442? The tuning doesn't have a big difference in kantele's sound, if any.

I misunderstood the question! Sure you can tune the kantele to 440 first, sample it, then set the kbd to 442 so it matches your other non-sampled instruments.
