Hi guys, can anyone help me with restoring my NP2 HP to the factory settings?
I have the latest firmware (v 1.16) and also the last version of Sound Manager (6.34), but my instrument is only able to backup and not restore. It is possible to backup the current piano settings but it doesnt allow me restore the factory archive or a different one. It always verifies the backup archive first (which I have downloaded right now), then it asks me if I really want to make the restore and if I click on the "restore" button, it always fails saying "Restore failed - File system is full"
On the other hand sounds can be downloaded to the instrument, but I am scared of restoring all the sounds one after another
Does anybody of you have similar experience? Or can you help me at least sending the list of factory sounds (so that I can download them into the instrument individually)...
I really appreciate your help. Thank you.

In this instance I would recommend using the FORMAT command from the FILE menu in Nord Sound Manager to erase adn reformat memory, then again attempt RESTORE operation. This is NOT a commonly reported issue (struggling to think of a similar case).
Please let us all know how this works out.

Pablo

Now that I think about it, I had that message once. It turned out that I was using a usb "pigtail" or "hub" that the regular usb cable plugged into. Once I removed the pigtail and plugged the usb straight into the computer it cleared up.

Re: Piano 2 factory reset
Pablo, thank you so much! It really works!
I haven't experienced such a problem either. We have to learn something new all the time
FORMAT was the thing, but thank to our American colleague for his effort, too!
Now let's get back to playing
