Hello!
completely noob question. I got a Behringer FCV100 volume/expression pedal but im having a hard time trying to make it work. In fact, it's the first time I am to use a pedal like this. Can anybody tell me what configuration do you use for your pedals? Which brand should i select on the System menu? I tried with all the brands listed in the wave.
thx in advance!

Hello,
I do not own this pedal, just had a look at the product description : http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/FCV100.aspx
Are you connected from output 2 on the pedal to the Nord control pedal input ?
Have you switched the pedal into CV mode ?

yes i tried that. it's connected, red light is on. it's connected to the contol pedal input. I select Morph on the control pedal destination in the system menu, and switch to CV mode on the pedal. 1/4 mono line conected to the Output 2 on the pedal. do you think I need a Stereo cable? i don't have any at hand to try right now. if anything, i should go to a store to get one.

I believe the CV input on the Wave requires a Stereo connection for either volume or modulation.
I use the Yamaha FC7 and it has a built in stereo 1/4 inch plug. You need a TRS cable I think.

If the red light is on, you have it in the wrong mode. Flip the switch back, and plug a TRS cable from output 2 to the control input of your Nord. Should work fine, bug you might have to select the Yamaha profile in the Nord menus, or possibly the Ernie Ball profile. Roland one will be way off.

Re: volume/expression pedal Behringer FCV100
for the CV, i used a stereo cable connected in output 2, in the menu, any ctrol pedal type should work.
im still confused aobut this i found on SOS. i don't know which way might work with my behringer.

Re: volume/expression pedal Behringer FCV100
It's and old thread, but I also got the Behringer FCV100 for my Nord Stage and I love them both The pedal works great, but yes, you definitely need a stereo cable for the CV function to work! Also the switch must be in CV position. Battery is not necessary.
I've also tried Roland EV-5, but the reason I bought the Behringer is the much wider movement range of the pedal. Its range is about the same as an original Hammond organ expression pedal, thus allowing much smoother movement and more precise foot control (I mainly use it for organ volume/swell).
The EV-5 may be a little easier to reach the whole pedal range when standing, but its short range of movement makes it very uncomfortable to make smooth, little changes while preserving a big parameter range. It might work well, say, as a wah pedal though. Also the Behringer is more than 2 times cheaper!

Re: volume/expression pedal Behringer FCV100
Hi Guys,
I am having similar trouble with the Behringer Pedal. Connected on CV mode with A steroe cable to the swell intup from output 2. when I go intop the settingds of my Stage 2 and toggle to foot pedal it only reads a minimum of 69-74% deopending on the different brand selections. Should this not be going to 0% when the pedal is right down so that the gain minimum is controlled by the gain setting in the nord? I would like the get more rang of motion from this pedal if possible!
Thanks in advance for any help!
Tom.
