I have a new electro 3. Love it. Now doing the whole 'connect to the computer for downloading etc' thing and I'm pretty baffled. Can someone tell me why my Piano Bank has 11 sounds and the manual suggests there are 13? Do I have a faulty machine from the factory or is this an update/

I don't think it's faulty, Nord changes things frequently so it's quite possible the documentation doesn't match reality. In the end, you can remove everything and put only the sounds you like the most in so as soon as you start doing that the documentation is out-of-date. Can you remove pianos and upload new ones? if that works, then the board is fine (as I suspect it is) and you can audition the sounds and find the ones you like best and customize it to your taste.
