Hi all,

Is there any chance to have a memory extension for our NP2 ? Like the new Electro 5 and Stage 2 EX, perhaps it may be possible to extends with a daughter board or something else...
Please please don't kill all my hopes...

Don't think of it as having your hopes killed. Better to think of them as moving on to a better place...a land of milk and honey...because there is no chance of this happening.

From what I've learned, those RAM chips inside are super special, the other hardware would have to be changed in order to address additional memory, and of course hooking up a card or whatever would have other hardware/socket needs besides.

But does anyone think there won't be a Piano3 or Piano2EX in the future?

Also, changes would need to be made to software to accommodate hardware changes. There's just no way this will happen.
