Creating drum sounds
I've been having a bit of trouble creating nice sounding kick, snare and hi hats sounds and I looked at the video by nord on YouTube about creating a basic kit and some of the settings they use, such as adjusting the click type to P9, seem to be unavailable on my nord drum 2. In the click section my drum 2 only had P1-5 and doesn't go above 5 for the P section! Also, the initialising of patches that they do in the video does not work when I try it, I was wondering if this is a common thing or if my nord drum just hasn't got all the software installed on it or something?!

Hi Elislater!
I think you'll first need to update to the latest operating system, OS3.00 includes the features you are looking for - and adds lots more!
you can find it on the Nord website: http://www.nordkeyboards.com/downloads/nord-drum-2 (You'll need a PC or Mac with a MIDI interface ...)
don't forget to also download the updated manual, - I bet you'll manage to get the sounds you're looking for, ..let us know!
Cheers,
Albert
