Help~~~ clicking sound from Nord 88 Key

Postby kkk1130 » 10 Jan 2015, 09:26

Hi

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlu8sZYafyE

As you can see from the link, F key is making clicking sounds.
Does anybody know solution? Or it is common issue for Nord User?

If i need to replace the F key, does anybody know how to take out a single key?
Last night i opened up Nord but i gave up because i don't know how to take out a single key and also don't know how to disconnect cable from bottom motherboard to Fatar keys. i couldn't disconnect the cable because when i pull a bit, it didn't easily come out and i am not sure it is same as normal computer cable.

Please share your expereince

Thank you so much

I would read through this thread (while paying attention to any warnings about warranty, etc.)

https://www.norduserforum.com/nord-stage-forum-f3/ns2-makes-strange-clunking-noise-from-c4-to-c5-t3693.html?hilit=stage%202%20noise%20washer#p22616

I fixed mine by inserting a washer as described in one of the posts on this thread

I don't think this is same as my symptom because i can hear the clicking sound when i disconnect the keys from both upper and bottom panels.
I disconnected Fatar keys from panels and i still can hear clicking sound from the F key.

Please help me further

Thank you so much for reply :)

I've fixed it
Solution: take out the F key and put back again. The clicking sound is gone

--> here is instruction for taking out a single key or replacement of any key

Thank you :)
