Hi there, anyone who could help me on this punch organ like sound which is heard all trough this song (The double F-note you hear in second 1, second 5 etc.)?

Sorry, just realised it is a simple sawtooth... I didn't get that spacey effect on it, but it will work in the mix.

There is a sequence at 13 seconds, sort of Arpegg going up. I don't think this is possible with the Stage 2 (except for sampling/playback). If anyone has an idea on this, most welcome!

Those 2 notes are a just a square wave.

That scale up sounds more like a saw wave and seems to be Eb F Bb C repeated over 4 octaves.
You can create the sequence by holding those 4 notes and set the arpeggiator up with a range of 4 (both leds on).
But it might be tricky to do live unless you synchronise to a click track.

Edit: actually if you set the Master Clock On to 1/16 and keep tapping the tempo live just until the sequence (about 126 bpm or so), then press that 4 note chord and that might be it.
you might have to hit the chord carefully to make sure the sequence is played in the correct order.

Really, the NS2 would benefit from a connector to enable tapping the tempo with a foot pedal/switch and free one hand.

That is exactly what it is, but You're right, playing that Arpegg is almost impossible live. I solved it by sampling that loop. See files attached. I have the sequence starting when playing the lower d#, controlled by a controller pedal. That way it starts at the right time, but you can control when you here it or not. The square wave is on F0, allowing to sort of play everything without switching.

I was just wondering... when I try to load the Nord Sample editor project, it askes for the "mesmerized loop.wav" file.
Since you haven't uploaded it as sample, could you provide the Nord sample file (*.nsmp) or the wav file?

Hi all,

Just to overcome the above. I've created an version based on Streef's one.

So this is the deal:

Left: piano for the main riff
Middle (zone 2): tooth saw (activated with 3 range arp.) But I use this one playing staccato for the short notes. And holding Eb - F - Bb - C for the upgoing arp.
Right (zone 3): tooth saw (activated with no range). I'm using this for holding F and F (one octave up) for the breaks.

I hope this makes sense. Can't make a recording right now... haven't got a proper audio interface atm.
