Hi there,
I just got a Nord Piano 2, and I am wondering if it is possible to connect a secondary controller to the Nord to play the sounds off of the Nord. This is primarily for a praise and worship atmosphere, so I can layer sounds without stacking them right on top of each other. I know it's possible with the Stage 2. Can I do this with the Piano 2, and how?

Re: Connecting secondary keyboard to run Nord Sounds with No
Hi Joel,
No, that is not possible via any means I can think of. While you have two instrument sections there, one Piano and one Sample/Synth, it is not possible to assign them to separate midi channels. So, you can connect a second keyboard to use as external controller, but the keys on the external controller will necessarily be playing the same sounds as the keys on the Nord.
Bless,
Pablo

Yes, on the stage 2 you can do that (and much more) thanks to its more extended sound and MIDI capabilities
