Jazz/Blues sounds

Postby devilzord » 21 Jun 2011, 06:16

Hi. Does anyone have or know any cool sounds to play jazz and blues? I have the nord classic compact 88.
I already downloaded almost all sounds in this forum and I got 2 cool sounds but I would like to see others.
If you made or you know please tell me. Thanks a LOT.

Best regards,
Ardeshir

Hello devilzord "Ardeshir"
Welcome to the forum!
Before I recommend some jazz and blues settings.
I'd like to know which jazz and blues players influence you the most.

Cheers, Hanon

I didn't forget you.
Just..... of all the jazz/ blues artists that I was prepared to say "oh yeah, he uses this, and he uses that..."
I was wholly unprepared for you to say "Herbie Hancock"

Hancock is so talented that he could bang trash can lids together and it would be awesome!

With that said. Check this out:

Sorry, but no.
That was my point about HH, he uses an extremely diverse sound palette for his music.
Artists like Jimmy Smith, Jack McDuff, and Billy Preston are easier to quantify.

Thanks Hanon for this video :-) Although HH has played Watermelon Man thousand of times, he never does it the same way, fortunately for us. But I expected he would have played with both hands (LH left on the Fazzioli, RH on the OASYS) like Hiromi Uehara... Just kidding ;-)

Meanwhile, he may have got a KRONOS? LOL
