Hi guys!
So I was attempting to update my Wave to the latest os version so that I could
load in new samples -Unfortunately something happened during the update of the OS and now when I
boot up the synth it goes to a Wave Test screen and says v0.36.
It seems as though I do not have an OS on the synth anymore and whenever I
try to install/update (I have tried installing the latest update and the one
on my original CD) it says: Connected, but unable to get OS version and
build. Once I press Update it frees up space but then once it is "sending
update" it says: ERROR: Timeout: No reply from synth.
Help!

Re: Deleted OS somehow? help!!
Did you try the instructions at the Clavia site (specially [3], [4] and [7])?:
Troubleshooting:
1 Make sure that the Nord unit is powered on.
2 Make sure that the USB cable is connected.
3 Make sure that the USB driver is installed (Windows only).
4 Make sure the Update utility and e.g. the Nord Sound Manager are not running on the computer at the same time.
5 If you still don’t get a connection with the units, try to disconnect and reconnect the USB cable.
6 If you still have a problem, try a shorter USB-cable.
7 Power up the Nord unit while simultaneously holding down the Shift + Store buttons on the panel. This will start the unit in a Update mode
which makes it a bit easier for the Update Utility to access the OS partition in the Nord unit.

Re: Deleted OS somehow? help!!
Thanks Mr G.
I have tried all of that and it's still not working. The Wave gets stuck on the Receiving screen as well and I have to turn it off and on again.
Also the update software says the that it's "connected" but that is unable to "get os and build" ... argh!
I'm using a MAC in case that means anything...

Re: Deleted OS somehow? help!!
Hi, another thing you could try is to find somebody with a PC, load the USB driver and try again by downloding again the OS and updater files.
Other than that, I think you should contact the service, unless Pablo has a better idea.
Hope you resolve it soon, and please let us know how you did it.
