Is it posible to expand the memory of the NSEX?
256 mb isn´t mouch whe´re talking piano sounds, and it would be nice to be able to do so, without having to change a great keyboard!

Hello Totmusic,
No, it isn't possible to expand the memory of the NSEx.
The firmware and operating system is written for 256Mb.
IMHO, the best way to get more memory is to buy the NS2;)
Cheers, Hanon

Me either,
but I've found a couple piano samples in my NSEx that I'm really happy with.
Someday I'll have a NS2 </wishful thinking>
Cheers, Hanon

Hello Totmusic,
I'm glad you asked.
I use the Grand Imperial Bdorf LRG for solo classic work.
the Grand Lady D LRG for Ballads, accompaniment, and small jazz ensembles.
the Studio Grand 1 (Yamaha C7 Conservatory Grand) LRG for rock gigs.
the Electric Grand CP80 for Genesis, Gabriel, and Journey covers.
But these choices are only what I've come to be satisfied with, other musicians' results may vary ;)
I also cheat and use my NE3 for some extra piano memory and play it via my NSEx hammer action keyboard,
In my NE3 I have the Grand Lady D LRG, Studio Grand 2 (Yamaha C7 Conservatory Grand), and a couple of Uprights loaded.
IMHO,
there's no real "perfect" piano sound, I've been searching for 30+ years and still haven't found it.
There's what you like, what you don't like, and the musical genre that it either works, or doesn't work with.
Tastes in pianos are a very personal and individual thing. This probably why so many different ones are manufactured.
I've had hundreds of instruments throughout my career. The digital piano that I'm most satisfied with is Nord.
My Korg M3-88 never leaves the house.
Just my 2 centavos...
Cheers, Hanon
