One thing which surprised me is that drawbars are not exclusive to Hammond organs. The Jensen Instrument Co. in England (later the makers of Vox combo organs) also used drawbars.

I agree, I don't see this keeping the C2Ds from flying off the shelf wherever they are sold. But you know, we want it all. The LED drawbutton system wasn't bad, and even has a few advantages. Can't help thinking of a way to combine the advantages of both.
But apart from that detail, putting the full 4-sets plus pedal of real drawbars on the C2D was the best thing anybody's done for the clonewheel organ in a long time. Before the C2D the only other organ to offer the full set of physical drawbars are the expensive and heavy B3MkII models from Hammond.
