I agree, no key off option in sample editor. Only through the piano lib a key off could be provided. A way to improve sound although, would be by using the sample player as fx processor.
We could sample the org. clavi, run it trough a certain fx and provide it as a bit crusher, extra delay, filtered version- u name it! But key off is not possible.
