Does someone know about the power need of NE3?
I see in Spes that it is called:"IEC320 C7 power connector".
Is it possible to take the power out of a 12 V battery, so that NE3 can func in a mountain concert (with battery amplifire/speaker)?
I have a transformer for totaly 150 W from 12V.

Re: Power for Nord Electro 3
150 watts is more than enough. I don't currently have a Nord instrument, but I think my Stage 2 used like 20-30 watts max. I could very well be off by a bit, but these keyboards aren't really power hogs.
Also, I think the 230 volt version has a 125 milliamp fuse, so the fuse would blow when the power exceeds around 29 watts (230 volts x 0.125 amps) - the real power usage will be well below that (probably more like 20-25 watts).
Edit: just had a look at the Korg Kronos. It is an absolute monster at a whopping 60 watt power usage. Guess that built-in 'PC' (Intel Atom motherboard) needs some power. Still, compared to other equipment 60 watt has hardly worth mentioning.

The Nord needs an AC input at its power jack.
Something like this might do the trick:

What you need is a device called an inverter, which can produce a stable 120- or 240v AC supply from a low-voltage DC source such as a car battery. Obviously the battery life will be limited, but you could use several in parallel if it's going to be a long session. Good luck!

Right... Basically, the device I suggested is a 12v battery with a 600 watt inverter.

I think he has an inverter. I took his 'totaly 150 W from 12V' to mean he has a 150 watt inverter.
