Hi.
In my band I use the Organ sounds a lot. A problem that has arisen though is that I often (used to ) use both organ and electric piano in a song. Is there any way I can use the sustain pedal to hold down the organ sound whilst flicking through patches manually??? At the moment as soon as I press the button to change to a new patch the organ will cut out regardless of whether I am holding the sustain pedal down.
Cheers in advance!!
Tom

Re: Sustaning organ over other patches
hi Tom.
what you're asking for is (as far as i know) a multitimbral feature.
and since the NE is monotimbral i don't think this will ever be possible.
sorry! :(

Re: Sustaning organ over other patches
Hi,
I'm afraid but I don't think it is possible. This seemingless patch switching is a very new feature e.g. of the KRONOS while it does not work on 98% of other keyboards.
Moreover, since the Electro is not multitimbral, there is no workaround.
On the Nord Stage, there are two kind of workarounds to that: (1) switching between channels while holding sustain down or (2) fast double click the Instrument ON/OFF button after which an instrument will still hold when sustained but not be triggered by notes played while you can play another instrument. Still, switching PATCHES as you ask for, does not work and always shuts down the sound immediately.
