Sustain Pedal Assignment Within a Performance

Postby Mick_S » 30 May 2012, 13:11

On the Rack2X, is there a way to exclude sustain from having an effect on certain slots within a performance? It seems that even when I am using different midi channels in a performance, if one slot recognizes sustain, they all sustain.
Thanks.....Mick

It is Global, like the PitchStick...
The Wheel is too, but there can be a way to shut it down using the Morph and don't create any morphing :)

The only global option I see is polarity...should it be possible using midi channels to separate performance slots to separate the sustain message? I am not sending sustain on the global midi channel..for example, slot 1 midi 1, slot 2 midi 2, etc. If I send sustain on midi ch1, slot 2 also sustains. If that shouldn't be happening, then I have a midi contoller problem..which wouldn't be out of the equation. Just making sure I understand what is going on in the Nord.
