Hello everyone. I've recently purchased C2D. I'm really happy with it.
I have also a Oberheim Viscount OB5 (update 2.2) and I'm really happy with the weight of the C2D (17 kg instead of 38 Kg).
It is a fantastic machine.
The only fault I can find by now it is the knob overdrive: it works well till half round, but the second half is too ditorted, unuseful, unless you're playing Space trucking;-)
The Viscount overdrive was more natural and more gradual. And I don't like the overdrive knob on the up-right of the organ. I prefer find it on the down-left like Viscount.
I have a question: on the Viscount I have a knob which changes the volume of the lower manual, keeping still the volume of the upper manual.
I can't find this function on the C2D. Have I to change each volume only with drawbars?
Thanks
Gabriele

Re: C2D: Volumes
Yes you'll have to use the drawbars to balance the manuals to your liking.

C2D: Volumes
Regarding the distorsion - the area from 6 - 10 I think is for creating really spaced out distorsion.
I use up to 6 or 6,5.
I think the intention is to have a sweet spot for every taste.
