Hey guys,
When using two keyboards (external through midi and the nord keyboard), I typically would only like one single sustain pedal to control the sustain of both of them simultaneously. Any way to do this? You guys know the NS2 and pedal mods better than I do.
Thanks!

Hello,
There is one sustain pedal from DSSP : http://www.dssp-pedal.com/

I bought me one of the DSSP and it works perfectly!

Now, I'm no electrical engineer but it seems to me that soldering a second cable/jack to your existing pedal would achieve the same result as the DSSP but at a fraction of the cost, no?

Most of the time this doesn't work because of the conflict between different power supplies.
The only time that it works reliably is when there's a double pole isolated switch assembly in the pedal.
Cheers, Hanon

Re: One sustain pedal for two keyboards
I simply use a double 6.3mm jack socket and a short jack to jack patch cable,
Both just cost a pound or two.
I put the double socket in the korg, plug the sustain pedal into one jack input and plug the patch cable into the second input then plug the patch cable into my nord,
Then my single sustain pedal works on both keyboards.

There's no need of buying that pedal. This is a software /OS issue. The same happens with the control pedal in the NS. One pedal attached to the NS should be able to control both Panel A & B.

I agree, arecio. It wouldn't be hard at all for it to have an on/off dual routing option. That would take them maybe 10 minutes to set up for the next update.
