Share and download User samples (*.nsmp or *.nwiproj and sample files) created for the Nord Wave, Nord Electro 3/4, Nord Stage 2, and the new Nord Piano 2.

Jump lead sound

Hi everybody,
here's my contribution to this forum,
This is a sample of the famous Oberheim OB-X, which has been used by Van Halen in the track "Jump".
Hope you will like it :)

here's also my program setting for that sound (amount of rev, delay, chorus I've been using).

Hi,

I sampled another version of the lead sound. As the first sample uploaded by ale_cool82 (that's amazing!!), it's from the real OB-X that one of my friends has got, but in this version I tried to reduce a little bit the attack time and I included the glitches in the high notes of the original vintage instrument. Hope you'll enjoy it, and hope you won't get disappointed by the fact I created another version of the sound....it's only the version I always desired to possess.
