Hello everybody.

I'm new here. So is my Nord C2 that I bought two days ago. Simply said, it's worth it. Anyway, I have a problem because there is a background noise. Really annoying. I can say that it's related to the B3 rotary speaker (vox and farfisa sound great, no noise). I don't know how to describe it so I recorded so you can hear:

Note: No key is pressed. The organ is only connected and turned on.

As I said, this is my first Nord organ and I don't know if it's normal. Any advise?

I can solve it quickly for you
Set the organ model to V2 The second of the model.
The one that you have is the V3 model. This is actually how many Hammonds sound and it is the sum of all the tones in the tongenerator leaking through
Many Hammond players feel that if the is not some leakage all the time, then the organ is dead
I would suggest that you try the leakiest model without the background constant leakage - or give playing with it a chance. It adds a certain enhancer type sound.

Try the various TG models and listen to the diff.
Play with a soft sound 808 000 000 or 008 800 000 and listen how the leakege adds a shimmer to the sound.

If you have any other C2 questions just post them I have had mine since they released it in 2009.
