Is it Possible to Boost the upper register?

Postby bstyles18 » 15 Mar 2012, 23:48

Hi, I play mostly a Rhodes sound at my gigs with my new Stage 2 88. I am finding that I lose volume in the upper register whenever I go to play a solo. Is there a way I can boost the upper register? Do i have to do a split or something? Thanks, I'm a NEWBIE to this keyboard... :)

One of the simplest things to try would be to turn the high frequencies up a bit in the EQ section, and see if that does what you want it to do.

To do that, just turn on the EQ/Amp Sim section, tap the button until the piano light is lit, then take the top EQ knob and twist it a little clockwise. Play with that and see if it helps. Otherwise, it could help us to hear a bit more about the problem. i.e. which rhodes sample you're using, which key range you're talking about, what you play in previously for comparison, etc.

Also, welcome!
