If I'm buying a new unit, is there something I can ask the vendor to help identify? Box labeling? Serial number? I've searched the forum and it looks like the Arpeggiator button screening is different, but you'd have to open the box to know that. Someone else mentioned that you don't know until it arrives.

Good question...I am picking mine up on Friday, I thought the box cover would be enough...but maybe I should open the box in the shop?

I would hope at this point your chances of getting an A new would be slim to none. Can't imagine stock would sit around that long on such a low-volume item.

precisely because it IS low volume would mean that there isnt a lot of turn over of stock!

I meant low volume production, not low volume in sales.. Nords are always difficult to keep in stock..
