Hello, people. I'm a very happy NS2 owner. I play it with my band, but when I'm home I listen to it through headphones. I'd like to buy some speakers. ¿Do you have any models to recommend?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Speakers
For an at home monitor an old school solution would be the Tannoy speakers.
I'm not sure about availability at this point. But I would have to think they are
a quality speaker that should be relatively flat & unhyped.
Your budget may help determine what to get.
I believe there are other threads here in the forum that cover this subject.
Good luck,

Re: Speakers
Are you planing to use the speakers only for amplifying your Nord Stage 2 or also to mix some tracks you've recorded ?
In the first case, a pair of monitoring speakers under 400$ (KRK Rokit Serie, Fostex PM Serie, etc...) will do the job, or a little 2.1 (sub + 2 sats) system like Blue Sky eXo2 is sometimes even better for the lovely bass response thanks to the subwoofer.
In the second case, it's important to take a pair of monitors speakers that are the most neutral as possible. At home i have a pair of PSI Audio, but it's a totally different price range...it's more like 2'000 $ for a pair of speakers. But i'm using them for mixing and amplifying my keyboards in my home studio. But you also have other brands that makes really good studio monitors, like Quested, PMC, Dynaudio, Klein&Hummel, Neumann, Adam Audio, etc...
If you don't want to pay so much money, the Yamaha HS-80 is also a good choice, the JBL LSR 4326P is also very good for the price.

If you can find a pair on ebay, the older KRK V6 Series 2 are pretty good for the money, should be around €175 for a decent pair.
Unless your using them for critical listening, most of the major manufacturers make pretty decent cheap powered monitors. I agree with the previous poster who suggested the KRK Rocket's, they are a bit bright sounding but thats not a bad thing if it's to play your board through.

Re: Speakers
I have M-Audio BX8 D2 monitors and they are very good. I wish they would hurry up and make a matching sub for them though. If I were you I would get those Blue Sky monitors with the sub like mentioned above or these... http://www.rolandus.com/products/produc ... rentId=420

Re: Speakers
Giant infinite baffle speakers = Good.
Things which require a "sub" = Not Good.
It would be much easier to drag around a detuned violin with a tuned bass tube rather than a double bass!
