hello everybody,
I am very disappointed, is there a Velocity split function for the NordWave, how do you want to fade between samples ? ??
for the Clavia team, if they are reading : Why there is only 320mo of sampling capabilities ??? This reminds me my old sampler from the 90' !
best

Re: Velocity split and RAM ?
Hello zgogor,
Welcome to the forums!
Yes,
there is a velocity crossfade "split" available to the Nord Wave.
In short, you use the Note Velocity via the Morph function to inversely control the volume of two samples (Slot A sound vs Slot B sound).
More information on how to do it can be found on page 13 of the manual.
I wouldn't hold your breath for Clavia's reply to the memory part of the question. I don't believe they have anything to gain by publicly answering, but you could email your question to them.
Cheers, Hanon

Re: Velocity split and RAM ?
Thank you Hanon,
Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself !
I'm zgogor, producer/keyboard player, vintage synths fanatics and Truffle hunter and a brand new owner of a Nordwave ...
I will check the Morph capability but it seems to work between 2 samples only, slot A and B and I had another idea in my head with the Velocity split function... On stage I often need to trigger different sounds on the same key, that's why I was looking for this function ...
Anyway, thank you very much for you enlightenment

Unfortunately it doesn't do that.
The sounds are only one velocity layer deep.
Welcome Zgo!
Merry Christmas, Hanon
