Hey everyone

I have a Nord Stage EX 88, and I would like to use it as a MIDI controller for Finale on my computer. I can't get the computer to recognize the Nord as a MIDI controller, and there I don't really understand everything that's on the CD that comes with the keyboard. Is there something on it that I have to install?

Hi Emilie,

first of all, you don't need the CD that comes with the Stage for MIDI.
The only thing you need is a MIDI Interface (cheapest solution is a MIDI to USB interface for around 30 bucks)! Bear in mind that the USB port of the Stage cannot be used as MIDI interface!!!
But if you connect your PC properly to the MIDI IN/OUT of the Stage Finale should easily work together with the Stage.
