Just got off the phone with a tec that Clavia directed me to talk to. When he couldn't answer my question I went to the home site and found a link to this forum. I called him back to ask him for help in navigating it. He informed me that the forum was not sanctioned by Clavia. I said to him that was strange since I found the forum via a link provided by Clavia on there support page. He said there's a lot of third party sites that Clavia are not a part of. I said well they are using this forum and pointing people to it. THEY ARE USING A LINK ON THERE SITE TO THIS FORUM TO POINT PEOPLE FOR HELP!
What the hell is up here? Clavia needs to fully run a forum, much like Apple does for Logic and Yamaha does and Korg does and so on.

I can understand your 'confusion' and I personally agree that Clavia should be clearer on their website that this is an independent forum, run by Nord users for Nord users.

It is funny you should mention Korg though, because the 'Korg' forum isn't actually run by Korg. I'm not entirely sure what the deal is, but I think Korg provides hosting and the guy(s) running the forum are still solely responsible for the content on the forum, without having to answer to Korg. Worst case scenario; they'll have to look for new hosting if Korg gets really pissed off by what's posted on the forum.

In our case we have our benevolent dictator Johannes (and the people who donated some money via PayPal) to thank for paying for hosting. Johannes does a lot of the work behind the scenes and us lowly moderators try to suppress spam and perform other managerial tasks.

I just wanted to add this bit of information.

Clavia's communication policy is not what customers would expect in the age of social media. It's frustrating sometimes. If somebody would come up with products on an equal footing (like Samsung vs. Apple) Clavia would be in trouble.

I've been a reader of the Nord User Forum for awhile now, but just registered today. One thing to note is that when I registered, I was prompted to enter the equipment that I own. I'm a new owner of a Nord Piano 3; however, this option was not available in the select list, so I selected Nord Piano 2 instead.

Postby vibescribe » 29 Dec 2016, 00:09

Hi all, I'm not very technical and am hoping someone can help me. I'm trying to replicate the keyboard sounds for the Blondie song Heart of Glass on my Nord Stage, any help/tips would be much appreciated

Right, or the one for the Nord Stage Classic/EX (vibescribe did not specify which NS version)

It's me again, Martin (White Beach), I just put my question here, maybe someone can help me already.
Like I said I have a Stage 2 EX, it's about splitting the keyboard. My problem is: How do I work with it when I want 2 Synth sounds, so Synth on Lwr and another Synth on Mid or Higher keyboard? Thank you much.
