Hey there
When I took my european Nords (Wave and Electro 3HP) to the States on tour, I needed to switch the currency, by opening my Nords and switching the currency inside - and also change the fuses from 125 mA to 250 mA - Although I found that 250 mA kept blowing, in BOTH my Nords so I put in 375 mA, which worked fine.
Now coming back to Europe I reversed the process, opened up my Wave, changed power back to 230 and put back the 125 mA fuse -
Nord dead. Doesn't even light up the shortest moment....
What's going on with this? And who do I contact at Nord to help me with these (really annoying) issues regarding power?

Re: Power issues, 115 - 230 etc
Sorry to hear that. Maybe the 375 mA was not a good idea after all. Instead of damaging the fuse, one risks damaging the board.
Perhaps there was a reason why the supposedly correct fuse kept blowing and finally it went the last time you used it?
Assuming that nobody connected it to the 230 voltage before switching it back, here is what I would do
(be very careful about messing around with electrical equipment!):
Is the power cable really working? Does your power cable have a fuse too (like the UK plugs)? If so, test it.
Have you tried removing and reinserting the Nord fuse?
Have you tested the new 125 mA fuse? Tried more than one fuse?
One final thing before sending it for repair. I would open it again and make sure that the switch for the voltage does not have a "blind spot" where it looks like it is switched to one voltage but it is not making a contact (i.e. without being connected to the mains, switch the voltage selector forwards and backwards again to make sure the switch is in the correct position).
If none of this brings it back to life, have a look in Nord's webpage, they list the distributors, you could give them a ring and see what they say.
Hope it is solved soon and cheaply. Please post back how this story ends.

As in: the switch was somewhere between 115 and 230 volt and not at either end?

Re: Power issues, 115 - 230 etc
it was almost at the end of 230, but not quite enough
