Hello,
I have a question concerning the octave shift function of the Nord Wave.
When I am using the Nord wave to trigger a vst instrument, the Wave triggers C0-C5 of the vst instrument. When I try to use the octave shift function to trigger the higher octaves of the vst instrument, it doesn't work.
I also own a Nord Lead 3 which I also use to trigger vst instruments, and when I hit c3 and the octave shift of the Lead is in the middle, it triggers the c3 of the vst instrument. If I octave shift the Lead 3 by one octave, and play a C3 on the Lead, it triggers a higher octave in the vst.
With the wave, whatever vst instrument that I load, it always triggers C0-C5.
I tried changing the settings in the Wave but I didn't find a solution. Has anyone encountered the same problem or anyone has a solution?
Thanks
Ross

Welcome to the forums.
Hi Ross,
The Wave's Octave Shift functions as Nord intended and doesn't affect the outputted MIDI notes.

However, you can accomplish your goal by using the Global Octave function by pressing the Global button (Shift+ Octave Shift )
Cheers, Hanon
