Hi Talking of floyd sounds, I wonder if anyone has an idea of the sound right at the start tof Dogs that sort of drifts in at the start a sort of smooth glassy sound? I wondered if it was a farsia thru some sort of effects unit or am I way off the mark there. As i've got the ne3 Im looking for a pointer to a sample or organ setting.(Apologies if Im asking in the wrong place I just joined the forum so can cross post if thats a better option let me know.)

Try this patch:

It's a Farfisa with the first four drawbars and the Flute4 drawbar pulled out, C1 Chorus on, and Hall reverb set on 5.

hi thanks for that, its a lot closer to what I got. I think there must be some other effect added in the studio to get the very smooth 'glassy' sound they got though, anyone else got an idea what it could have been.

Ps didn't check for reply before as I left that band and have been playing funk since, but now playing with a floyd tribute band so keen for any samples/tips !..
