How to get the MP3-Player:
Upload a MP3 file where you play some notes using your sample.
Click the "PLACE INLINE" button after uploading the MP3 sample in order to automatically create a Flash MP3 player in your post!

Orchestra Hit
Anyone got an orchestra hit? That cheesy sound from the 80s.. the first one he plays here

Finding it is not really the issue I think, finding a -free- one that you can distribute, that's another thing.
It seems wikipedia has some samples of orchestral hits, no idea if they are usable though: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orchestra_hit
Wikipedia has several links to interesting sites with more, such as this one: http://www.synthmania.com/Famous%20Sounds.htm
Alternatively, find someone with a Roland or Yamaha keyboard (or Kurzweil of Korg of that matter) and sample an orchestral hit sound on that; those are bound to have some.
Or this, from the venerable CMI Fairlight (nice and low-fi): http://www.ghservices.com/gregh/fairlig ... /orch5.wav

thanks, actually I do have a yamaha keyboard, maybe ill try to actually make a sample for once.

I got two orchestra hit samples from a Korg TR-Rack. Maybe you can use one of those?
